Come explore the world of felting through wool painting. This workshop will introduce you to different types of wool and felting techniques in order to make an art masterpiece. We will explore needle and wet felting, as well as sketching, color blocking and detail rendering all with protein, plant and/or synthetic fibers. You will have the opportunity to choose whatever scene, portrait or still life you would like to recreate. Through wet felting technique we will make a background for our art. Then, we will learn needle felt techniques to apply our fibers onto our newly made background canvas. The workshop will end with an overview of mounting ideas in order to display your artwork.
