Kawandi Handmade Quilts with Sujata Shah / Quilting by the Lake
Learn the element of design of Kawandi and the background of the African Diaspora of India who inspired this hand sewn art form. The focus of this workshop will be on being spontaneous while selecting scraps and using colors and fabric to document your memories and special events. Sujata will share how to find rhythm between your mind and body and practice mindful stitching.
