This isn’t your ordinary textile retreat! Celebrate Hawaiian Textiles, held by Sew & Sew Retreats, March 4 – 16, 2025, will explore two islands by experiencing the culture, taking time to relax and enjoy sun-filled moments, AND participating in multiple textile workshops!

We start in Honolulu, Oahu where we will learn a bit about the culture, shop hop for fabric and take a two-day Hawaiian Quilting class with Poakalani & Co. Then we will go to the big island of Hawaii, staying in Kailua Kona. We’re staying at 4-star resorts with easy access to the ocean, restaurants and shopping. We will explore, enjoy our time in paradise and have a four-day quilting class with Jane Sassaman – Abstracting from Nature, and a sashiko and applique’ workshop with the local quilt shop – Quilt Passions.
