Animal Artistry through Appliqué with David Taylor / Quilting by the Lake
In this workshop, students will learn the finer points to David Taylor’s animal quilts that are adapted from photographs. Topics include his unique pattern drawing method, a layered freezer paper, turned-edge appliqué technique, background ideas, construction and quilting. A strong emphasis is placed on fabric selection and using those fabrics wisely.
