Image Statement: Have you ever seen a California sunset? Depending on the weather the sunsets can contain brilliant colors. I am a native Californian and have seen my share of unusual sunsets. I used my eco-friendly practice to interpret what I’ve seen and felt about these amazing sunsets. The colors of the California sunset are seen in this assemblage through the wrapping of fibers around found objects. This intuitive work shows the colorful sunsets seen over the beaches that line the California coast.
