Image Statement: My work plays with how light, color, and emotion influence the way we perceive reality. I create semi-abstract pieces combining materials such as thread, beads, plastic, and acrylics to reflect how our internal states color our perception of the world. My process is intuitive, allowing light, shadow, and texture to guide the work as I explore these interactions. My work plays with uncovering the invisible layers of reality—rediscovering the underlying magic of our human existence, from the unseen energies, emotions, and cellular physiology, to the larger physical forces impacting us. Through play and ornamentation, I blend these realities to show how they’re all connected in our experience. My work invites moments of curiosity and self-reflection, showing how fluid and malleable our perceptions really are.
