Ripple Rag, 2024
Metal vase, cotton sweater, contorted hazel branch, wet felt balls. 10" Tall X 10" Diameter
This work is built upon a re-claimed metal vase, and a discarded sweater. Embellished with a twig from a contorted hazel shrub and wool felted balls. Like many places in the world today, the small island that I live upon is overwhelmed with discarded textiles. I make an effort to transform this waste into art pieces.
