I explore themes of memory, loss, preservation and ecology. My gathered flowers, plants, and rust objects are printed on fabric to cover rocks or soft sculptures. Then, I use stitch and twine to bind the cloth and rocks together, perhaps to protect these bits of precious earth.

I print rust on recycled fabric and drape it over a wooden frame. I am interested in the story of the fabric, the unplanned rust and the flow of long fabric.
