Prompted by the theme of pods for an exhibit, this piece came together by creating a two dimensional painted and machine stitched textile that was deconstructed and reformed into an abstracted pod shape.

A Bunch of Red was created to specifically use recycled felted miscellaneous fiber sheets. Hundreds of painted petals were stitched to create this piece. A beautiful transformation.
