"you're so mature for your age" taps into the inner child that is in all of us. Growing up with trauma and not allowing yourself to be a child, and now getting to relive and heal that inner child within me I use pinks, sparkles, purples, and blues that allow for a more playful weaving.

Can I Talk To You? is a collaboration with wool. Sitting at my spinning wheel and listening to the way the wool reacts as it leaves my hands and gets spun into coiled yarn. The wool is dyed both naturally and synthetically from plants in my garden and colors that resonate with emotions I feel.

Weave Your Ends speaks towards the whirlwind of fast fashion in our society. Creating a wearable piece of art that is not perfectly sewn in or completed, the ends show the process of making and the amount of time made. The sweater in total takes about 2 full days to complete, with each ring in the arm showing the passing of 10-15 minutes of work.
