"Color Chimes" is an exploration of the visual representation of sound inspired by the wind chimes outside my studio window. The artwork delves into the imaginative concept of translating the auditory experience of wind chimes into a vibrant and dynamic visual composition. By envisioning sound in the form of color, my intent was to capture the essence and beauty of aural sensations through a visual medium.

Have you ever seen a California sunset? Depending on the weather the sunsets can contain brilliant colors. I am a native Californian and have seen my share of unusual sunsets. I used my eco-friendly practice to interpret what I’ve seen and felt about these amazing sunsets. The colors of the California sunset are seen in this assemblage through the wrapping of fibers around found objects. This intuitive work shows the colorful sunsets seen over the beaches that line the California coast.

Using repurposed bits and pieces and painting them with fiber I am representing the golden age of industrialization. My multimedia, multifaceted piece draws attention to the inventive nature we have come to enjoy and depend upon. You the viewer can just imagine the moving parts as it spits and sputters to create a product that we believe we so desperately need. Repurposed wood and wire wrapped with fiber accentuated with glass beads assemblage.
