Playing upon the idea of a gendered body, (en) gendered vessel reimagines the vessel as an imaginary organ, womb-like with associations to the female body. Vessels are said to symbolize feminine containment. Choosing to paint the vessel pink heightens associations to being feminine. I think of pink as a nurturing and healing color.

To be in the Loop is to be informed as opposed to Out of the Loop. The accretion of overprinted layers of loops creates areas of confusion and muddiness. It becomes difficult to distill any meaning from the marks. The screenprinted layers are done on both sides of the cloth to create a sense of mystery.

Twizzle is a nonsensical word meant to invoke playfulness and whimsy. The colors, dots, and circle patterns reinforce this concept of fun. Twizzle is part circus act and carnival atmosphere; Twizzle is the joy one experiences from being carefree.
