Nothing is more fascinating to me then watching the moon set on the Pacific or any large body of water. I am immediately struck with how the light dances on the water. Indigo dipped fabric tells my story.

For a few years now as I walk along side of the ocean every day I have wondered how I could duplicate what I see and for others to admire. It came to me in pieces first I created "water bubbles" then I started wrapping and dyeing fabrics. in a indigo bath. Then one day it came to me converge these two ideas and I knew I had it. I do hope others love it as much as I do. The work was just accepted into Excellence in Fibers at the Schweinfurth Art Center!

Taking pictures daily walking by the ocean waters side alone I am always amazed at what the camera sees. Viewing the image that this work was created from I relaized these ladies always were with each other forever.
