In this workshop participants will learn the fundamentals of machine sewing through a hands-on experience. We will break down the basic operation of industrial lockstitch and serger machines, explore troubleshooting common issues all while constructing a series of bags growing in complexity with your own trajectory. Basic zipper application, book seams, serging, materials selection, seam allowance, and reading patterns are just a small sample of what will be reviewed in this workshop. All skill types are invited to join us from beginner to novice to pro, we have something for everyone!
