The Mourning Project: Little Elegies
This huge community art project of 20,000 pairs of handmade baby booties seeks to draw attention to the problem of infant mortality in the US, honor little lives lost before their first birthday each year, and begin a discussion on how to improve the lives of American infants.
Each exhibition is site-specific. This one will highlight the accomplishments of local health providers to improve outcomes for babies born in Missouri.
Free at the Kranzberg Arts Foundation Gallery, 501 N Grand Blvd, St. Louis, MO. Gallery hours Saturday, noon-4 p.m.
