Image Statement: I learned this technique from Richard Gonzales, Iriquios Oneida Turtle Clan, he learned from an elderly Oneida member. I am harvesting shed antlers and using natural materials which I dye and weave to document our shared history. This antler is from Pennsylvania, land of Erie, Iroquois, Shawnee, Tutelos, Delaware people. Reeds dyed with kudzu and other plant stains.
