Image Statement: While researching my great-grandmother's hometown in Poland, I came across a study of Polish witches in the 18th and 19th centuries (by Michael Ostling). This quilt is an homage to three of the women who were arrested in their villages for stealing the morning dew, a material, I learned, that was both magical and practical.
